Michael Galvin is a member of the Kilmurry Historical and Archaeological Society. He has written a number of books on Kilmurry and the surrounding area from Famine times through to this his latest book. This new book looks at the start of the 1930’s as Ireland started to take it’s place in the world as a new country and move away from the Civil War. This book looks at the local impact of the fallout from the Civil War and the policies followed by the new government in Dublin. The launch is on the 25th of April at 8.30 and all are welcome.
